Low Quality Render Animation for Draft

So I’ve started using D5, I’m working remotely as a freelance, is it possible to render in a lower quality like reducing light bounces and number of rays in a render for a faster preview render to show the client before making the final High quality render?

Hello fredzvillegas.
I do this to present the project quickly, before the final high-quality rendering. I click on F9 -F10-F11, to have the image on the entire screen, I turn off some particles such as the fire of a fireplace or the lights, even if I use the emission material, therefore the spheres, if D5 had a command to access and turning off the spheres would be simpler and quicker, because you have to turn off the Layers for each image you took. Then I capture the image and correct it with Adobe Photoshop, cutting out the superfluous and giving it a size of 1080x2048, i.e. 2k. Or it depends on your PC and its power, making 2k renders directly is good quality, activating the updates made in D5 2.5 in the Preferences, that is, if you have seen their presentation it explains how to activate the production speed of a render . Or you know you also have it by ticking DLSS. Surely in the future the D5 staff will make an App to show the project on tablets or mobile phones. I hope I have helped you see differently to use the program to your advantage. :slightly_smiling_face: :slightly_smiling_face: :slightly_smiling_face:

Now we don’t support that since it’s a real-time rendering software. You can consider reducing the output size or using the smooth mode when previewing.

Anyways, The rendering speed of D5 is generally faster than the other software but the minimum requirement is relatively high(eg. GTX 1060)
