Local assets folder and assets name does not match file names in windows

I noticed that the Folders/assets created in the local assets folder, inside D5, and then renamed arent changing the flders and asset names inside Rhino.

It is a detail but makes asset management harder, specially when migrating computer, reorganizing, sharing,…

Hi @alexandrecollaco

Can you send us a screenshot of this issue that you’re pointing out? So we may understand it fully and have the full context of it. Thank you.

Here is an example.
I created two new folders inside D5. You can see the folders in D5(left) and Winows explorer(right)

Renamed the folders in D5 but the folders in explorer remains the same.

I realize you are just changing a text file to change the name in D5 but this approach quickly grow into a folder mess as you grow your library or import an external one.
The same happens with the assets names they does not match between d5 and windows file.

This approach makes library management a nightmare, since you need to change name in D5 and then in Windows.
Otherwise you will get a library with a bunch of random names. Like the one bellow.

Hi @alexandrecollaco
