Can you please make it possible to turn off any particular layer so that the navigation gets faster even in high mode? Currently, my ‘grass’ layer increases the polygons and makes the file lag even in low-quality mode. Pretty much making the layer active and inactive, so that we only open the layer when doing the final render.

You can turn off Layers and Groups by clicking the eye next to it or you can turn off brushpainted grass etc by clicking the objet you painted on and then on the right side click the eye symbol
