Layer display when I import

Hi D5 Support Team,

I’d like to suggest a feature that could significantly improve workflow efficiency when importing models from programs like Rhinoceros, 3D Max, and others.

It would be incredibly helpful if, upon importing, D5 could preserve and display the original layer structure from the source file—similar to how KeyShot handles layer management. This would allow users to toggle the visibility of specific layers directly within D5, without needing to re-import the entire file each time they want to hide or show certain elements.

While the Live Sync feature is a great solution, not all users have the hardware capabilities to use it smoothly. Integrating native layer visibility control upon import would be a valuable alternative for those working without Sync or on less powerful machines.

Thank you for considering this request!
