Keyframe Lighting

I work in Theatre, and I’m designing a set an want the ability to animate scene changes. I love how we can animate objects etc. but I would love the ability to change a lighting source’s % and colour. this way i could seamlessly transition between scenes. Is this something i could do?

An example would be to fade out a spotlight over 10 seconds, or start that spotlight in the colour red and then fade over to yellow.

thanks!

Hi @kieron.m.johnson

Currently, keyframe lighting adjustments are limited to Visibility Settings (turning lights on/off).

However, you can achieve unique color transitions per frame with a workaround: use four identical lights (same location, type, etc.) but assign a different color to each. Then, simply toggle their visibility on and off for each frame to create the desired color changes.

There are also D5 particles that can help play on a scenography.

Or with a D5 projector, with a video that changes color, you can find it on you tube
