Description of the work:
This office interior design project, with the renovation of a space of 120 square meters in the east of Tehran belonging to FEJITA company, was carried out by Ship design team. The client wanted to upgrade his work space in terms of dimensions and functionality, and for this purpose he asked for help from Ship Architecture Company.
In the first place, preliminary plans were proposed to improve the space in terms of using natural daylight and opening the spaces. In this way, the reconstruction and major repairs in this office began by removing the wall and changing the dimensions of the kitchen and management office.
The large kitchen that was located in this office occupied a lot of space and was not needed much. While the management room was very small and did not have much capacity. In this way, the common wall between the kitchen and the small office was removed and the interior design of the manager’s room was done in the room next to the kitchen. From the kitchen, a small space was left in the majority of a mini kitchen, which is sufficient and suitable for this size of space.
In order to separate the spaces and also take advantage of the natural daylight, the office partition was used in the interior design of the office. But before that, it was necessary to change the place of the package. After changing the location of the package, aluminum profile glass partition was used in the front part of the management room. Also, in front of it, a space was considered as a showroom, which is used to display the company’s products.
We are all well aware of the effect of natural daylight on work efficiency and individual mood. In this office interior decoration design project, by destroying the wall and using the aluminum profile glass partition, it was possible to spread light to the hall through the windows in the room. In this way, there was no news of the previous dark and boring atmosphere. Regarding the great importance of natural daylight in office interior design, we are satisfied with the fact that when the work space is dark and gloomy, the desire of employees to work decreases and they get tired sooner. Things go slower, and in this way, the employer will be more dissatisfied with the employees’ activities day by day.
The design of office interior decoration should be done in order to increase the work productivity of employees and also add to the credibility of the brand or services provided by the company. Considering these rules and standards helps us to have an inviting atmosphere where employees are less likely to experience work fatigue or anxiety.
After that, the height difference in the ceiling of the space caused us to change the channel direction of the coolers. Because in that case it was not possible to implement the roof. In this way, among the works that were done for the renovation of the office, we can mention the removal of the wall between the small office and the kitchen, which led to the creation of two large rooms that benefit from good light and transfer it to the entire space through the office partition. they give. After that, it is necessary to provide explanations about the interior decoration of the office.
Since the field of activity of this company is in the field of production of office products, kitchen, etc., we felt it necessary to create a connection between the company’s activity and the interior design of the office. Considering a space to display products was one of the main needs of office interior decoration design.
The dominant color used in office interior design is gray, which is a dignified and appropriate color and matches the modern and industrial nature of the space. Also, the furniture selected in this office all has a modern character and extra luxuries have been avoided in the space. As in the lighting of spaces, we see modern and beautiful measures.
In fact, the space is not very crowded and not quiet and minimal. Spatial movement of employees as well as people’s privacy are well respected and we have tried to get the maximum benefit from the available facilities. An example was the windows in the management room that transmit light to the rest of the spaces through the glass partition. Also, in order to complete the lighting of the space, it was necessary to get the help of standard artificial lighting that is useful in the hours of darkness. For this purpose, halogens are installed on the eaves of the roof, which illuminate the space in parallel rows. Also, linear lighting has been used on the edge of the walls and the showcase of the showroom.
For the floor of the office, we considered carpeting, which is one of the common trends of recent years for office interior design and decoration. Carpet is a soft and sound-absorbing material. In this way, people can focus more on their work, and there will be no more noise of walking and collision of chairs and objects on the floor.
Two colors of carpet have been used in the interior design of this office, so that in addition to creating diversity, we can create a subtle separation in the office. In the process of renovation, design and interior decoration of this office, which was done by Ship Architecture Company, the possibility of company development and future changes are also foreseen. The opening of spaces and the use of office partitions instead of rigid and heavy walls have led to the creation of an open and modern place where different activities are possible.
