In most of the visualizations we create, roads appear — and sometimes they occupy a significant part of the frame.
I would like to see, in the near future, a procedural road-building system in D5, with road markings and wheel paths, including slight imperfections, so the road will look convincing and realistic.
At present, the ability to achieve this is very limited: either importing a map with all the markings from external software, or using D5’s asphalt texture and adding the markings manually via decals or other methods.
I’d be happy to hear your opinion, and whether there are any plans to implement such a feature.
