Hi, I would like to suggest to add EXR images as a possibility for HDRI. Another important thing I hope you guys could do is, to set HDRI to be ambient and sun light as well providing hard shadows like sun lights. That would be very nice, since HDRI sun light makes scene looks much more realistic.
Also I believe that we should have a more accurate control over the intensity of the ambient light provided by the HDRI. My customised HDRI are always too bright and almost impossible to control properly the brightness on it.
