Hello there. i have an idea about FUR.
there is a link of SKETCHUP model of a smal part for FUR.
i think it is a best and easy way, we get FUR in D5.
you can add it in library for a brush using like the grass or etc.
it will work perfectly with random size control as we use for nature assets.
