Hi!

I have been using D5 render for about six months now and prior to that I used Lumion and Twinmotion.

I would have a few features that would be nice to have included in this software as well.

Library / materials:

  • More content to the library / materials, for now there is a lot stuff but more would be nice. Megascans

  • People = there is now a function for changing the colors of the clothes. The function itself is nice, but why there is no option to change people to all white (ghost humans). That can be very useful for taking draft renders.

  • Surface decals function

  • Volumetric spotlight effect

  • Path tool which also works with furniture and lights etc.

  • Realistic grass and ocean tool

Software features:

  • measuring tool where you can insert/type the measurements

  • More 3D object import - obj, dae. etc…

  • 3D viewer model exporter, so that we can show our clients the model on via tablet or phone.

  • Weather tool or season tool

  • Clip plane tool to clip multifunctional planes.

Request:

  • When we add some 3D models into the library for the model, sometimes the program “forgets” to download the texture. ( This happens if we use a lot of objects from the program library.)

  • Painting trees or plants in texture tool. There is no feature that can delete all of the trees and plants at once.

Here are a few remarks but the program is awesome!

This will take the pole position of real-time rendering software and I would like to participate in BETA testing.
