Explode path tool

I’d like to suggest an improvement to the current Path Tool that would make it far more versatile and artist-friendly: the ability to explode a path after placement, so that each asset becomes individually editable.

Right now, the Path Tool is great for quickly placing repeating assets like trees, cars or people — but its limitation is that you cannot adjust or replace individual items afterwards. This makes it difficult to fine-tune the scene artistically.

For example, in my recent project, I placed all trees manually (except for one continuous row), because I often want to rotate or slightly adjust one specific tree that doesn’t look right in a certain camera angle. The random rotation is a helpful starting point, but it’s not enough on its own. The same applies to vehicles: I hand-placed every car on the parking lot to avoid a repetitive look — slightly rotating and varying each one to achieve a natural layout. deleting some cars etc.

If the Path Tool had an “explode” function, we could still benefit from the speed of bulk placement, while keeping the flexibility to fine-tune the scene asset by asset. For instance: replace a car with a different model, or rotate one problematic tree without affecting the rest.

I believe it deserves a dedicated request here.
