I really love D5 and have been using it for about five years now, but I’m starting to get genuinely frustrated by the fact that so many essential material-related features are still missing. The fact that you still can’t export decals(z fighting) from SketchUp is honestly concerning to me. The fact that you still can’t place decals on transparent materials is simply ridiculous. Applying film to glass, something that appears in almost every office interior, is just not possible! This is embarrassing. It doesn’t seem like a particularly difficult issue to solve, and we’ve been asking for this for years.
