Features
Connect to D5 Render
One-click to launch the D5 Render to establish the connection and sync the current Blender project to D5.
-
The initial sync will send all mesh objects and material data in the scene
-
Click “Stop Sync” again to disconnect from D5 Render
Live Sync
Any modifications to the model will be automatically synchronized to D5 Render in real time, without the need to manually trigger an update. Ideal for users who want a seamless integrated workflow.
Sync Once
After the connection is established, when you modify models or materials in Blender, the changes are automatically recorded in a sync queue by the plugin. Clicking the sync button will only synchronize the changed data to D5 Render, preserving materials and scene parameters already adjusted in D5.
-
Objects changed: Transform operations such as position, rotation, and scale of objects
-
Meshes changed: Modifications to mesh geometry data (e.g., operations in Edit Mode)
-
Materials changed: Modifications to material parameters or node connections
Send Cameras (Sync Scenes)
After the connection is established, click the Send Cameras button to synchronize scenes from Blender to the D5 Render scene list with one click.
Synchronized camera parameters include:
-
Name: The name of the camera object
-
Position: The position of the camera in the scene
-
Direction: Camera orientation (view direction and up vector)
-
FOV: Camera field of view
Send Lights(Light Sync)
After the connection is established, click the Send Lights button to synchronize the lights from Blender to D5 Render.
Corresponding light types and synchronized light parameters:
| Blender | D5 | Supported Light Parameters |
|---|---|---|
| Point Light | Point Light | Name, Position, Brightness, Color |
| Sun Light | Spot Light | Name, Position, Brightness, Color |
| Spot Light | Spot Light | Name, Position, Brightness, Color |
| Area Light | Rectangle Light | Name, Position, Brightness, Color, Size, Shape |
-
If the Area Light shape is rectangular (Square/Rectangle), it maps to a Rectangle Light in D5 Render;
-
If the shape is a disc (Disk/Ellipse), it maps to a Disc Light in D5 Render|
View Sync
After the connection is established, click the “View Sync” button to keep the Blender and D5 Render viewports aligned at any viewing angle, enabling real-time synchronization of the D5 view with Blender.
-
Supports both Perspective and Orthographic view modes
-
Toggle view synchronization on or off with one click
Sync Camera Animation (Send Camera Frame Range)
After the connection is established, select camera objects with animation data in Blender, then click the “Send Camera Frame Range” button to synchronize the camera motion path animation to D5 Render.
Export d5a files
Supports converting models to .d5a files for direct import into D5 Render.
-
Supports exporting only selected objects or the entire file
-
Group structure export: Exports one level of group structure by default, with support for up to two levels of group structure.
Uninstallation
- From the Start menu, select “Uninstall a program - Uninstall D5 Livesync for Blender” to uninstall with one click.
