Hi @mithileshkumthekar

No, not yet. We will release an official announcement once D5 LiveSync for Revit 2027 becomes available. Please stay tuned for updates.

What are the best workflows around this right now? I need to render something for a client and exporting as an OBJ just isn’t practical and crashes my computer every time?

Revit 2028 is right around the corner, and it is unacceptable that a simple plugin is causing this many issues. Suggesting a downgrade to Revit 2026 is a lazy workaround, not a solution.

A better solution for us is to just switch to a different rendering software.

Just adding to the list of D5 pro customers that are concerned why there is not a Revit 2027 plugin yet. Does not make sense to not have this ready for Revit 2027 day of release or at least a week after release. D5 is limiting our company’s workflow unfortunately.

Yet another frustrated user waiting for this…can we please get an ETA? Like many above, this is making us seriously question the viability of D5 for our practice moving forward when most other rendering engines are far quicker to provide updates.

I am also waiting on this. In the meantime will be going back to Twinmotion to see if recent upgrades rom Unreal made it a better long term solution…

Hi everyone,

We sincerely apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience. The closed beta for D5 Lite for Revit officially commenced just yesterday.

  • Please join our Discord channel to participate, you may follow the instructions provided by Liahuang in order to get invited.

Discord Links:

Be aware that this is only a beta version. Once the official version is released, you must uninstall the beta and switch to the official version immediately.

Is anyone on the D5 team even making an effort to provide an answer on this topic? It surprises me that the release of a new version of Revit always comes as a surprise, when these things should happen simultaneously—the release of a new version of Revit alongside the release of a new version of LiveSync. I should mention that the workflow involving exporting an FBX from Revit and importing it into D5 is completely unusable.

Hi, Is the beta only for D5 Lite? What about those who don’t have Discord? Thanks.

Nothing yet?

is there any chance D5 team can reconsider releasing 2027 sync plugin apart from D5 lite for those of us who rely totally on revit - d5 workflow for their everyday tasks ? that would be much appreaciated :blue_heart:

Hello,

Revit 2027 support is being developed alongside D5 Lite for Revit. While the official release is still under development, the beta program for D5 Lite for Revit has already started, and Revit 2027 compatibility is currently being tested through this channel.

  • If you need Revit 2027 support as soon as possible, we encourage you to participate in the beta program and help us validate the workflow before the official release. This is currently the best way to access and test Revit 2027 integration while development is ongoing.

Note: Please keep in mind that the beta version is intended for testing purposes and may contain known or unknown issues. Once the official version is released, beta users will need to uninstall the beta build and switch to the official release version.

If you’re interested in joining the beta, please visit our Discord community and follow the team’s instructions to request access. Additional updates will be shared there as development progresses.

For users without a Discord account, we can provide the beta installer upon request.

However, we generally recommend joining the beta testing channel if possible. Since the plugin is under active development, new builds, fixes, known issues, and testing instructions are shared regularly through the channel. Without access to these updates, it can be easy to fall behind on important changes or continue using an outdated build.

If Discord is not an option for you, please let us know and we can provide the installer. Just keep in mind that you may need to periodically contact us to obtain the latest beta updates as development progresses.

I’m interested in the Revit 2027 beta program. However, i can’t find the Discord channel. When I click on the Discord link provided, I just get a blank Discord page.

Hi @michael6

Try this Discord link for the overall D5 Render server.

Then navigate through the channels to find Revit.

This is a little confusing. We use D5 Pro and would like Revit 2027 support. Really, it’s just the plug-in we want for Revit 2027 that syncs the model to D5 Pro. Is the small plug-in really that difficult to update?
