If you sync your archicad model to D5 render it’s imported as 1 model. Is it possible to sync/import ur archicad model in seperated objects for example walls, doors, windows, … so everything can be changed seperated?
for example in TwinMotion you can export/sync ur model “by material” or “by obects”. Is this possible in d5 render aswell?
kind regards,
Maarten

Hi mate, thank you for this post, I will share this with our dev team for D5 Converter for AC.

When can you implement this? It is a very bad idea to export an object as a single mesh broken down into materials. This forces me to make a lot of different materials and spend time on it.

Thanks for your idea. We may consider it in the future.

Two years have passed! The problem remains. Is this user discrimination based on Archicad?
Hi there,
We understand your frustration about the absence of layer synchronization and object separation (similar to Revit plug-in). We know you were looking forward to it, and we sincerely apologize that it didn’t make it into this release.
We understand the necessity of this feature in your workflow and is limiting you from utilizing our new features, and that’s not the experience we want you to have. We want to assure you that we’ve heard your feedback loud and clear. Although we can not give you a specific time frame for its release but rest assured it is certainly included in our roadmap. Thank you for your understanding.
