I’d like to suggest a new feature that could really improve workflow efficiency the ability to open D5 AI Post-Production without having to load an entire project first.
Right now, opening a complex project can take quite a long time. In my case, one of my current projects takes around 20 minutes to load, even on a powerful system with a 5090 GPU. I can imagine that for users with less powerful hardware, this process is even more time-consuming.
If you only need to use the AI Post-Production tools and not the full 3D project, it feels unnecessary to open the entire scene just to access that feature. It would be amazing if we could open AI Post-Production directly
for example, from the D5 Launcher, where you could simply select the project folder or file to work with.
A possible restriction could be that, in this mode, you only have access to the AI Post-Production features (without the 3D scene), which would still be incredibly useful. Ideally, though, users could even open both the Render program and AI Post-Production side by side, allowing them to work on one project’s renders while doing AI post-work on another.
I hope this makes sense, and I’d love to hear if others feel the same.
