Concept Art for my first try on D5

Workflow: D5 + Photoshop + Magnific AI

Brief description of post-processing: I used the result of D5 with its enhancer and the magnific AI update to repaint areas I wanted to modify and some color management process.

Models: for armor and skull was find on FAB

Description of the work:
This was my first try with D5 and I wanted to see what could be produced outside Archviz.
As I’m an FX artist on Houdini and more cinema-oriented, I wanted to test D5’s capabilities, and the idea of being able to generate a scene with an environment fairly quickly was appealing.

I first worked with Substance painter to texture my armor and skull, which I assembled in blender to take advantage of the D5 export, then imported them to create the scene.

I used D5’s scatter to dress the whole armor, the maximum density for the scatter obliged me to enlarge my scene to make sure I had sufficient volume.
