Hello guys! Quick question…i recently started to do archiv and big neighberhoods of houses etc and my pc gave up at this new project i have.
My curently pc spec is:
Mb: Gigabyte Aorus Master x570s
RAM: g trident z5 neo c18 3600 - 128gb
CPU: amd ryzen 9 5950x
Gpu: rtx 3080 gaming oc gigabyte 10gv
My question is: I wanna buy amd rx 7900xtx sapphire nitro… will my workflow improve atleast 2 times? Will it work as good as an rtx regarding raytrace and dlss i mean will i be able to see realtime rendering? Will the quality still be photorealistic? Cuz my d5 crush everytime i try to reopen my project.
I attached some photos
Pls help me i need to finish this project asap… thank you guys and have a nice day.
hi, i dont find ur scenes are heavily detailed or complex model. check community free scenes on ur pc.
when u load ur scene check gpu usage in task manager . how much ram used and free.
is it ok if u share ur project? and btw what is ur project folder size. consumption u mention looks unrealistic, when looking at ur renders. in exterior ur using d5 trees or imported.
This is my project… but to be honest i need an opinion of regarding the RX 7900 xtx sapphire nitro+ card… because i wanna buy it… and i cant find reviews of how it handles d5 render
as u can see i have 32 gb ram and i have some ram to use, in ur scene u said 128 gb ram get consumed.
i have tried deleting assets like surround trees / plain surface on ground later i houses but found scene is still taking space in assets folder.
now i deleted everything but still assets size is 2.28 GB
i think d5 still keep objects entry in file.
btw ur main concern is to go for rx 7900, imo nvidia rtx is better bcoz d5 works on RT cores where nvidia dominates. i have rtx 3080ti .
Hi,
I downloaded your model, on my machine the model is very smooth, and moving in real time you have an average of 9-10 fps.
I tried to render the first scene, no problems, time 6 minutes 54 seconds.
My configuration:
AMD Ryzen 9 5950x CPU
Mainboard Asus ProArtX570
RAM 128 GB
RTX 4090 GPU
I know the RTX 4090 is very expensive, but I think it’s the best investment you can make to take full advantage of D5 Render. the amount of RAM and CPU power matter much less.
If you are struggling with final renders and want some help, contact me in private, I can gladly help you.
