AXYZ animated 4d people

Can you make possible to import to D5render these ultra realistic 4d people from our personal library?

Thanks.

Hi there,

It’s forwarded to the asset team.
Thank you very much

Thanks Jessie!

Hi Jessie
Any new info in this topic?
greetings

Hi. I tried importing axyz 4d people. But the problem is with the material. IS it possible for you to check those materials which they have applied to 4d people. Those are some other types of maps sort of animated texture. and I really dont know how to apply those maps in d5. Can you please work on that?

Hi mate, we don’t support the materials of 4d people. sorry for the inconvenience. Also, we consider to improve that and will have more excellent assets in the next updates. Please stay tuned.

hi, when next update is expected? can we change those 4d materials in 3ds max or any other software which can later applied in D5?

The nearest update of assets is desert plants, followed by People and European plants, please stay tuned.

Some characters in our assets library are from AXYZ because we have a partnership with them. If you import abc files, then I think it should work. But the animated ones may not work because they have bone animation. We will consider supporting it in the future.

awaiting for anima 4d people support.

I can’t believe I missed this topic! Finally somewhere to share my knowledge!

Guys there is a way! We do have animated mapping! It’s multimedia!!

  • First of all in 3ds max, make anima show textures, and start playing. Here anima exports texture so max can show them. It’s in the folder “texture dump” which is where your project is.

  • After playing for a while all textures would be exported. You can know when it’s done when there is no stutter in the movement at all.

  • Open the texture dump folder. Make sure all frames are there. You can check end of their names. If there is a frame missing, place the playhead on that frame in max so it would export it. Here is a tricky part. There will be duplicate frames, find them and delete the one comes first.

  • use a video app to make a 30fps video from image sequence. Like AdobePremiere. Google it, it’s easy

  • now import your .abc file into D5 render, make the material multimedia and use the video as material. As you can see it doesn’t work! For now, since in real time view the fps is not 30, but in render when you choose 30fps, it would be different and all the animations would sync, resulting a beautiful character.

  • this method is Fully tested, both with AXYZ and Render People. although render people’s mesh breaks at d5 so not the best.

P.s. if you learned anything I would appreciate donating a dancing girl from AXYZ to me. (The one sitting, listening to headphones):smiley::ok_hand:t2: interestingly AXYZ ALL is very useful here, if we could chip in and buy sub for 3 month, we can salvage all we can and use xD

Hi, thank you for the tips. I’ve attempted this method, but it isn’t effective. The issue seems to be that I didn’t render the scenecause in the real-time preview, it doesn’t synchronize. I’ll try this and then follow up with you later.
Another query I have is regarding extracting people and textures from Anima 4D. How can we export Anima 4D people textures into an image sequence?
Please advise on any potential solutions. Thank you.

Can you create a video tutorial for this?

I really plan on making tutorial for it, but I’m very slow. at the moment I’m working on a basic course for d5, then couple of projects, then using stable diffusion to enhance assets, and finally importing 4D people! step by step!

Sure, thanks for your honesty. Could you please explain how to extract characters from Anima 4D? Specifically, how can we export textures as an image sequence from Anima 4D?

as I have explained in my initial post, here are steps to create image sequence:

  • First of all in 3ds max, make anima show textures, and press play in timeline. Here anima exports texture so max can show them. It’s in the folder “texture dump” which is where your anima project located.
  • After playing for a while all textures would be exported. You can know when it’s done when there is no stutter in playing the character animation.
  • Open the texture dump folder. Make sure all frames are there. You can check end of their names. it’s series of numbers, so it’s easy to just check them.
I’ve also asked D5 team to give us real time fps limit. this would help us further.

hey
it’s not working for me
if you can give a tutorial video it will be great
Thanks in advance

hey guys what’s up.
here’s a tutorial on how to import 4D people to D5 render.

it only works for “.abc” anima models or render people models. you can convert anima to .abc, I make tutorial for that soon. DM me for scripts

here is a sample I used it:
