Hi there,
It’s forwarded to the asset team.
Thank you very much
Thanks Jessie!
Hi Jessie
Any new info in this topic?
greetings
Hi. I tried importing axyz 4d people. But the problem is with the material. IS it possible for you to check those materials which they have applied to 4d people. Those are some other types of maps sort of animated texture. and I really dont know how to apply those maps in d5. Can you please work on that?
Hi mate, we don’t support the materials of 4d people. sorry for the inconvenience. Also, we consider to improve that and will have more excellent assets in the next updates. Please stay tuned.
hi, when next update is expected? can we change those 4d materials in 3ds max or any other software which can later applied in D5?
The nearest update of assets is desert plants, followed by People and European plants, please stay tuned.
Some characters in our assets library are from AXYZ because we have a partnership with them. If you import abc files, then I think it should work. But the animated ones may not work because they have bone animation. We will consider supporting it in the future.
awaiting for anima 4d people support.
Hi, thank you for the tips. I’ve attempted this method, but it isn’t effective. The issue seems to be that I didn’t render the scenecause in the real-time preview, it doesn’t synchronize. I’ll try this and then follow up with you later.
Another query I have is regarding extracting people and textures from Anima 4D. How can we export Anima 4D people textures into an image sequence?
Please advise on any potential solutions. Thank you.
Can you create a video tutorial for this?
I really plan on making tutorial for it, but I’m very slow. at the moment I’m working on a basic course for d5, then couple of projects, then using stable diffusion to enhance assets, and finally importing 4D people! step by step!
Sure, thanks for your honesty. Could you please explain how to extract characters from Anima 4D? Specifically, how can we export textures as an image sequence from Anima 4D?
hey
it’s not working for me
if you can give a tutorial video it will be great
Thanks in advance
hey guys what’s up.
here’s a tutorial on how to import 4D people to D5 render.
it only works for “.abc” anima models or render people models. you can convert anima to .abc, I make tutorial for that soon. DM me for scripts
here is a sample I used it:
Thank you for your patience. Our asset team is working on implementing 4D people, but the import of AXYZ Animated 4D people is still uncertain.
as you watch the video, I provided there on importing objects, there are some areas that can be improved by your side. I list them here; any improvement can help us:
1- if you make multimedia material more accurate so it could have stuff like “range, offset, etc” like abc files, it could significantly increase import speed.
2- once we import asset, frame 0 of abc file becomes unnaturally heavy. I’ve suggested people offset and start at frame one, but interestingly once I tested both and with offset at 0 the render time was more than 20 minutes longer. (offset 0: 38min, offset 1: 18 min)
3- sometimes D5 refuses to load textures if we add 4D people after everything. in this case we have to make another project, load 4D people and merge it to main project. it takes very long time. not really pleasant.
4- even though all the textures are similar to each other, but while rendering they would load different in shade. some are brighter some are darker, leading to flicker. this is fixable by third party stabilization software, but it would’ve been better if D5 could load them correctly. also, if the model moves from sunlight to shadow (or the other way around), sometimes while in shadow, the shadow won’t load. the result is consistent, based on location. for example, if the model moves from shadow to sunlight, and it won’t load shadow on certain spot, it won’t load it in same spot if it moves from sunlight to shadow as well.
5- once the model played once, if it has replay, the replay will show multiple models, so we kinda have to use it at the beginning of the clips to avoid replay. this will also make it hard to loop walking models.
any help from D5 on fixing these specific issues, can make it more enjoyable to use these models. here is 4D model to test: Man in Wind.zip - Google Drive
