As an interior architect, achieving material authenticity is essential to conveying both mood and tactile richness in a rendered space. Currently, D5 Render offers excellent real-time rendering capabilities, but it lacks support for fur-like or fuzzy materials such as shaggy rugs, bouclé fabrics, or long-pile upholstery.
These textures are frequently used in modern interior design to introduce softness, warmth, and visual contrast. However, replicating their realistic surface depth and fiber behavior is currently not feasible within D5’s existing material library or texture system.
Integrating a dedicated shader or texture system for fur, fleece, or high-pile fabrics would significantly elevate the realism of interior scenes—especially in close-up renders or stylized compositions. This addition would enhance the representation of tactile materials and align D5 with the demands of high-end design visualization.
Thank you for considering this suggestion to expand the creative and professional potential of D5 Render.
