2.10 Updates

I’m using D5 Render 2.9 and I just opened up D5 and am getting a window for “2.10 Updates.” Can anyone explain that?

Hello @gusrobatto

2.10 version is the new version. You can update to the latest version to experience new features.

Oh. I read that as an update for 2.1 and thought the next version would be 3.0. Didn’t see any mention of an update to 2.9 here. Where can I find the release notes?

When do we get 2.10 on the West Coast, Pacific Time?

Yeah still waiting here in Central Time too…weird things going on today it seems…I’m working in 2.9 and am having lots of trouble and it makes me think it is something to do with the update…but I can’t know for sure.

Hi @eric3 @dan

We’re currently in a gray-scale phase for the new version, which means it’s being released to a limited number of users at random. This allows us to gather feedback and ensure a smooth transition before the official release. Once the official release is ready, all D5 users will be able to update to the latest version.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Hi @alexrvs1

Can you please confirm if you are using a language pack for D5 Render? May I know which language pack? Thank you.

What happened to the camera control? Every time I move the camera, the viewport goes nuts. Is it a bug? I don’t recall anything like this happening before 2.10

Same here, I can’t pan and move anymore, all it does now is move in reverse of my mouse movement. Any way to revert back to previous camera controls???

Hi @jameshhl

Have you tried to modify the Navigation settings? Try to use Fly or the setting that you were using before. Thank you.

Hi @rogalxxx

I apologize for the inconvenience. I can’t seem to experience or replicate the issue that you’ve encountered. Can you please confirm if this occurs in all of your scene files? Perhaps a video recording of this issue?

Thank you.
