Sync problems revit 2026 and d5 3.1

Hey guys,

I’m having some issues syncing my Revit models after updating to D5 3.1.

I’m working on a Revit model that was running perfectly in D5 3.0, but after updating to version 3.1, I’m seeing some unexpected behavior.

For example, some doors that are exactly the same family in Revit—with the same materials and properties—are no longer being recognized as identical in D5. Instead, they appear as different materials.

The same thing is happening with some walls and other elements. In Revit they have the exact same materials and properties, but in D5 3.1 they’re being treated differently.

Has anyone else experienced this issue after updating to 3.1? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

Hi @alejandro1

May I know which version of the plug-in you’re currently using? Does reverting back to 3.0.1 solve the issue?

Hi Clov, thanks for answering me so fast.

I think i found the problem, and is the D5 Lite plug-in. I did a couple of test and this is the summery of the results:

D5 Version: 3.1
D5 Launcher: 1.2
Revit: 2026

1- Connect with D5 through D5 Render plug-in:

2- Connect with D5 through D5 Lite plug-in:

I hope this helps you to fix the plug in. For now, I will keep using the D5Render plug in as usual.

Cheers

Hi @alejandro1

Thank you for sharing the results. Could we possibly collect your Revit file? Alternatively, could you isolate the model or textures that are experiencing issues when using D5 Lite with Revit?

If possible, please generate a link to the modified Revit file and send it to me privately. Thank you!

Yes, no problem…where should I send it?

Please send it to me privately here in forum.
