Hello Franco
My card set up is just factory setting.
The difference in storage may be related to speed.
As for PCI-E Gen.4 of m.2, the start up of the PC is very fast.

+1 to that idea!
That’s what I thought.
I did 3 tests.
One on an SSD, on an HDD and on an M2 that I have installed.
It is quite rare. I leave you the results.
TEST 1 - 90sec (GIGABYTE GP-GSTFS31240GNTD)
TEST 2 - 92Ssec (HDD ST1000DM010-2EP102) -
TEST 3 - 63sec (WDS250G1B0C-00S6UO)
very interesting…maybe someone from D5 team can explain the results…Im not PC geek…but Im surprised, I didnt expect that M2 SSD might cause any difference with GPU render…well I have to learn alot
A standardized benchmark would be awesome. This is something that would bring in new comers also. Clearly showing expect speed and performance. And with the new 3000 series coming out the 2060 should be affordable to all.
Sorry, could you tell me where to find this scene?
I would like to post some demos
Hi, i have a similar laptop but, after the instalation D5 Render stucks at some black screen and dont open, some one can help me?
Hi,
New user here.
I’d like to know where to get the demo scene, to see what my system is capable of.
Hi Oliver,
Thanks, but I was talking about the scene in post #2.
If anyone has a link, would be great!
